The Amazing Places brand is a guide to special destinations in and out of the Czech Republic. Each place is one of a kind and has a distinct character of its own.
This is why we chose an approach that builds on these unique qualities while simultaneously bringing them together into one coherent whole. And so came about a brand that is young and confident but still knows how to take the backseat and give its own clients the space and support they need.
We placed great emphasis on making sure we captured the company’s unique essence. Luxury and exclusivity in contrast with a relatively young target audience are expressed primarily through the colour palette and distinctive typography. The logo and other elements also belong to an entire range of “sub-brands” currently in the works, as the visionary owner of Amazing Places had already been planning on launching these brands when we joined forces on this project.
The owner, Petr Kotík, initially approached us to create a new logo. After several sessions together we came to the mutual conclusion that Amazing Places needed much more than a new logo and that the company’s image was due for a complete overhaul. This became the spark behind the reconceptualization of the entire brand.
The resulting minimalist brand identity immediately received a positive response on social media and among the partners of Amazing Places. The nearly 50% boost in Facebook followers within a year and a half of the rebrand is a testament to its success. Over the same period, the number of Instagram followers jumped by a whopping 330%.
Thanks to the expressed interest and follow-up work of the client’s community managers, more and more fans started becoming clients. Strategically defined projects that were prepared in advance, such as the company’s Amazing Magazine, and other activities, like the brand’s successful local events, helped establish deeper engagement.
The rebrand also helped the Amazing brand expand and bring to life new projects, such as Kouzelné chaloupky and BeAmazing, attesting to the positive visual and financial impact of the work we have done. Thanks to our continued efforts and long-term creative oversight, the entire team now sees the impact of a holistic approach on branding and the fact that Amazing Places isn’t just the letter ‘A’ with a small circle, but the result of the chemistry we make together.
