The rebrand of SG Consulting into Eywo clearly shows how important it is for a company to reflect the values and ambitions of its founders.

Eywo is a team of experienced IT consultants working primarily for big corporations and government institutions. They bring tried and tested solutions from the West and most importantly – they can see below the surface of their client’s problems. The brand’s old identity did not reflect this and the name itself – SG Consulting – was neither clear, nor memorable. This is why we dreamed up a new name: “Eywo” (short for Eyes Wide Open), which reflects the company’s curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

This gave rise to a minimalistic and playful visual identity: a sophisticated, clean logotype with a “pupil”, where the letter “y” serves as a structural element. We graphically reinforced the brand’s slogan “we see through the surface” using glass objects, a tabular layout, and an altogether systematic approach. The colour scheme – black, mint, and brown – evoke both a premium quality as well as the distinct nature of the IT environment. The font fuses a technological aesthetic with a subtle human touch.

The new brand can be used across all channels – from print, websites and social media to office spaces. The rebrand reinvigorated the company’s corporate culture and how it comes across to the world. Both employees and management are very pleased with the results. We are proud that Eywo now better reflects the brand’s identity both on the surface and deep down.

Impulse¹

The owner of SG Consulting, Jindřich Kasal, initially approached us to create a new logo for the company. After a series of consultations, we presented him with a broader and more all-encompassing perspective for his brand. These meetings inspired him to see his brand with new eyes, leading to a total rebrand of his company.

Reaction²

The new brand garnered positive feedback right away – not only within the company, but among customers as well. The distinctive logo piqued interests even outside of the IT field, with people mistaking the company’s merch for a new fashion label.

Connection³

The identity we created has captivated the attention of key figures who often go on to become the company’s customers. At industry conferences and trade fairs, the new brand serves as a great conversation starter, because as clients say: “…is stands out from the crowd.”

Growth⁴

Since we started working with Eywo in 2023, the company has expanded operations and set up a hardware division. It is also anticipating further growth in and beyond the scope of its current offerings. The rebrand has given the company’s owners the confidence to pursue their goals, as they can now wrap their ambitions in a package that looks the part.
